This register is published in an incomplete state and is being expanded. It contains 377 observations and 566 sources drawn from the project's living documents. 128 observations currently appear as summaries only, with full entries pending recovery from prior session records. Proof pages establishing the reasoning behind each confidence grade are being written and are not yet available. The source register will be expanded to include every citation, case and work referenced anywhere in this research. The single direct test, a highly selective inhibitor in healthy animals, improved learning rate and spatial memory and had NO effect on reversal learning. That null was in healthy animals, so a ceiling effect cannot be excluded, but the experiment that would settle it has not been run. THE IDENTITY-RIGIDITY CLAIM IS THIS FRAMEWORK'S OWN EXTENSION AND IS UNTESTED. Tamnes et al. (2017), a multisample longitudinal study, reported widespread and regionally variable nonlinear decreases in cortical volume and thickness with comparably smaller steady decreases in surface area, and stated the general finding directly: different measures of brain anatomy develop differently across adolescence. The framework's claim does not require an endpoint. It requires the developmental mismatch — the threat-response and reward systems maturing ahead of the evaluative system — which is separately documented and is the substrate of the hot/cold cognition distinction. COUNTER-EVIDENCE: the dual-systems model that frames this asymmetry is itself under active reconsideration; the mismatch observation survives that critique, but the strong two-system architecture is contested.

Suppression of a sacred tradition is a consequence of political consolidation, not a precursor of collapse. Tainter's account of legitimacy holds that every complex society has an official religion, and that sacred legitimization "provides a binding framework until real vehicles of power have been consolidated. Once this has been achieved the need for religious integration declines, and indeed conflict between secular and sacred authorities may thereafter ensue" (Collapse of Complex Societies, pp. 27-28). This supplies a structural mechanism for the suppression pattern documented at HSRP-011 and HSRP-065, and replaces the virtue-decline framing, which Tainter classifies under "mystical factors" (Ch. 3, pp. 74-86) alongside Spengler, Toynbee and Gibbon, and rejects. Two dissociations were measured. 5-HT2A receptor activity was required for LSD- and psilocybin-induced reopening of the social reward learning critical period, and not required for MDMA or ketamine. Separately, in beta-arrestin-2 knockout mice, LSD and MDMA failed to reopen the period while ketamine and ibogaine succeeded in both wild-type and knockout animals. The compounds therefore split twice along two different axes, and neither split is 5-HT2A. What is shared is functional rather than pharmacological: reopening proportional to the duration of acute subjective effects in humans, paralleled by metaplastic restoration of oxytocin-mediated long-term depression in the nucleus accumbens, with transcriptomic evidence of extracellular matrix reorganisation. The authors propose psilocybin can push neural flexibility past the zone of largest therapeutic efficacy. (3) ACUTE EFFECTS RUN THE OTHER WAY. LSD acutely impairs executive function and cognitive flexibility in humans. Improvement is post-acute. AND THE CONDITION: a companion study of 12 healthy adults given a single dose with no therapy found NO enduring modulation of neural flexibility or ACC function at 1 or 4 weeks. The contrast between that null and this result is the four-component model measured. LIMITS: open-label, not placebo-controlled; n=24; 7T signal dropout excluded several regions; small sample for the predictive models.
